We were there at the same time as a 2nd grade class but there was enough space that they were not on top of us the entire time. It is definitely geared towards kids though!
Gratuitous shot of me just for fun...
So here's one of the neat things. Several of the aquarium displays had "pop up bubbles" where you could go "into" the display. There was also a 360 degree tube that was a lot of fun. The pop up bubbles were clearly oriented for kids, but that didn't stop us (even me!) from getting down there and crawling in.
We spent the rest of our morning relaxing, went out to lunch, took a walk, got Allen's boss's car washed for him since he let us use it, and then we headed to the airport for a looong flight home.Vacationing was SO much fun. I was worried about leaving Aidan, because we'd never left him before for any reason, but he did just fine. He needed some extra cuddles but that's why we had grandparents here. He was so happy to see us on our return he yelled and ran to the door! It was really sweet.
We've been home for several days now and are back in our normal routines. More posts later!
